Default Leigh Arms 2010

I think we picked the best day weather wise. This was our first visit to the Leigh Arms, what a lovely spot. I've included a couple of images of the surrounds.

I never spent much time at the Leigh arms !. On the way there i spotted engines at another pub up the road so i stopped there for ages and then when i got the the Leigh arms i went for quick spin down the road with Broken Firebar and then i went home !.

Those are all cracking photos David and really capture the day well.
The rain set in about 05.30 this morning and looked set for the day when I left at 12.30 though I think it probably cleared later in the afternoon.
Max Cowap is the owner of 'Jack' and very nice it looked aswell.
Cheers.

Had a great time this weekend.

Thanks to all for organising it, to Alan Thwaites for the parking, and particular thanks to all on Parfield for a cracking trip down the river.

Where has the year gone??

Many thanks David for the superb photographs, took the camera and left in the car, too busy chatting and playing

Weather broke about 2.30pm and it the sun even came out!! Shame the event finshed with a very wet start.

Same time next year so make a not in your diaries.

Super day yesterday. 15 mile run over to the Legh Arms was very enjoyable and well worth it. A very informal gathering and the chance to see so many friendly faces that I sadly now only seem to see once a year.

Max is a very lucky man! "Jack" is a super engine.
