What are the names of the following engines: 189,203 and 205
209: Why does this engine have two names.

So go on then folks - a bit of light entertainment for a wet and windy Sunday evening...

Which is the best looking Burrell road loco? The Dalesman, Lord Kitchener or Lord Roberts? Or perhaps another...!!!

It might be impossible to decide but for myself it is The Dalesman. Without doubt. But then again, when I thinlk about it....!!!

Remember folks - this is a bit of fun! Don't mention the "C" word...!

I should add a great selection of photographs - thanks for posting them.

Michael

"Dalesman" hands down as it's not to big or to small and having been giving the opportunity by Ted to drive her, she's un like anything i have ever driven, just pure perfection! which is saying something as there are some very well dialed in engines out there.

The black ex Bridsons one in Liverpool museum.

Or the Searle's crane engine that's a lovely bit of kit.
