Quantity of Clayton spares. 44000 series portable, but parts often intercahngeable with tractions and crane engines etc. Like Ruston, Clayton knew how to standardise!

Flywheel 60" dia. x 8" wde x 3.5/8" bore. £650 Good order

Balance drive/fly wheel 66" dia x 10" wide, lighter in the rim than the flywheel. £500 good order, not sure of bore dia but fits 3.5/8" Shaft

Connectng rods complete with big and little end brasses, straps and cotters. Usual hammer marks but greasy with light occasional surface rust. 47.1/2" centres, big end 3.5/8" dia x 3" wide, little end 1.1/2" dia x 2" wide. 2 available £175 each.

Brass eccentric strap (valve gear) 1 off £100

Double throw crank shaft, a thing of great beauty!! 74" long, journals 3.5/8" dia 12" stroke, 36" between journals. £250

2 x Split eccentrics and reversing plate (1 off), other one with combined governor pulley £150 each.

Pump eccentric, about 7.1/2" dia x 3" stroke, 1.5/8" wide. £75

Also Crank shaft brass journals x 2 sets, crank brackets, 2 x trunk guides 2 x cross heads etc.

Boiler man hole door £50, 2 x Bridges £150 pair.

Blow down valve Clayton standard pattern needs lapping etc £150

Cylinder casting also available. Firebox removed, bridge stays are useable...

Sorry no pics currently, the mobile has decided to jamb. All prices are negotiable!! Sale is to finace new firebox in another portable... and to make some storage!! The boiler on this engine is sadly too far gone for economic salvage....
