Default Bursledon Brickworks Autumn Steam Up this coming Sunday

Bursledon Brickworks has a steam up this Sunday, 27th October. The steam group on site will be hosting some visiting engines with the usual residents in steam in the yard as well as a wood sawing demonstration. Various other activities on site, miniature railway, full size narrow gauge, both offering rides.

The traction engines and trailer will be giving rides around the site.

Off Junction 8 of the M27, near Southampton, 11am till 4pm.

Was in Southampton city centre last Sunday 20th around 1315 hrs
Just caught a glimpse of a Fowler single and road train ,complete with rather muddy wheels
She was making her way along the ring road
Off to this event?

I would guess that was Dave Freemantle, with his engine Volunteer heading back to the Brickworks for the event as you say.
