On behalf of the Irish Steam Engine Owners Association and thanks to the great efforts of Chris Glynn, I collected Six tonne of coal from Board Na Mona today and another Twenty tonne to be collected from Staffords Fuels in the very near future. So with this twenty six tonne and another twenty odd tonne pledged, we will have about fifty tonne in total by the start of the run. This means that coal will be provided to everyone taking part.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the beer, but a certain amount has been organised and a COURTESY tent has been organised for the field in Innishannon, so a certain amount of REFRESHMENTS will be provided also. Remember your entry form needs to be in by 1/04/2010 and all are welcome. The next meeting for the run is on 24/03/2010 in Carlow and all are welcome to attend.
