Default Boxing Day, The Gate Ifield Sussex

A few photos from the run from Horsham area to 'The Gate' in Ifield, lots of steam, a few nice hills and a couple of pubs, what better then that!

A few photos from the largest hill, ill post some video and more photos tomorrow!

Thanks Robin for the photos, l still have a few more details to add - motion cover ring (still waiting for the foundry ! ) and star, toolbox and waterlifter etc but nearly there..... then l can move on to the other one !

Nice pics Robin, and well done Bill looks absolutely spot on.

That old ex-Luggs Burrell 2298 is a fabulous engine, I was told many times in my youth that it was one of the easiest engines around to handle and with a terrific bark.
