Default Beamish Power from the Past 2012

Not having the big engine there meant I could go with family and camera...so unfortunately a flying visit but here's a few shots:

Stafford's newly restored Wallis 8nhp at Pockerley waggonway

John Young and Dave Antell sawing by the Museum Store

[IMG][/IMG]

Our own notyalc making his way down the main street - taken from the top deck of a departing tram, this is what it's all about

[IMG][/IMG]

Alan Borthwick leaves Pockerley with the newly rebuilt church in the backgorund

[IMG][/IMG]

A gathering of engines and steam car in the colliery yard

[IMG][/IMG]

Trevor Wrench's Clayton passes through the pit village

[IMG][/IMG]

Clayton meets Ruston portable

Another excellent event from Paul Jarman and team, looking forward to going with engine next year at last!

I like Beamish because no matter what the weather it is all hard standing.
Hope to make it maybe next year.
