Default Notts & Leicester Steam & Transport Show 2010

I decided to pop over to the Notts & Leicester Steam & Transport Show event over at Melton Mowbray this afternoon. Only a small event but a relaxed feel with plenty of engine movement. The show was held on the Leicester County Showground which is part old airfield which made a good opportunity to photograph the rollers on hard standing. A few of my favourite pics:

Not as far as I know, one of ours has belly trouble and the other won't be steam tested until later in the summer.

Some of the advertising said that a pair of ploughing engines would be in attendance, but this did not materialise. I can't work out which pair it was supposed to have been, not many others in this part of the world now.

A nice little show, its on a very good site with lots of room to grow, only problem i can see is if the wind is blowing you cant get out of it, if it grows maybe acsess will be a problem

p.s David (SS) Theres an Ipswich engine pretending to be Lincoln built...
