6376 was new to Townsend & Sons, West Auckland. County Durham.
In 1892 she was sold to A. I'Anson who drove her for Townsends along with a sloping-frame Marshall thrasher.
She remained with the J. I'Anson family all her life and only driven by the family after A. I'Anson's death in 1928.
She was sold by Fred I'Anson in October 1962.

I think what Steve is trying to say is that there were no "Cornish" variety of Traction Engine. I saw one at Torbay Rally in 2009

Default cornish engines

Steve is meaning that there wasn't any cornish registration or engines that actually worked here in cornwall on display at the show, All the engines at the show but two live here in cornwall, two coming from devon.
Would be nice to have a cornish engine reunion or get together, were are all the AF reg engines know because most are not here in cornwall

Here is an idea for you all to think about..... there are some Cornish Engine owners who want to see conversions banned from rallies. How about if a rally were to be held in Cornwall and all engines except those with Cornish Registration plates on them would be banned. Any that try to attend the rally with either false plates or which have been re-registered with a Cornish plate would be banned as conversions!!
