There was quite a lot of cake! Still we needed to keep our strength up. Post anyway Lisa and blow the consequences!

What a great day, glad to see a couple of photos in this lot of my Garrett, and me looking decidedly oil and soot covered at the end of the run! thanks guys. a quick work out, i averaged about 4 mph over the 21 miles including oil/water stops but not pub stops. So many engine i wanted to see, just didnt get around them!

Quite impressed also at the amount of engines roading away on Sunday to various destinations, including at least two engines & the Foden bus through London, Gigantic in the middle of the night,

Yes, a lot more seem to road out than roaded in. I was there all morning yesterday, I'll post a few pics later.

Quite a few engines were and are most years roaded to the rally two weeks before. The sound of clanking firing irons at 6.30 the morning after the night before will stay with me for a while. Amazing weekend!

Did other ploughing engines do the 28mile route?

We saw only a few engines as we went around.

The Z7 and the BB1 did the shorter route I think. I'm not sure about Saunders ploughers but the shorter route again I think.

Mine are all at https://www.flickr.com/photos/miss_w...7647762300718/
Please feel free to copy or save them or use them as you wish.
We started on the long/medium route about 5 miles from the start, then moved onto the Green Man pub and was there till 4 pm.
Fab day, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
