Default Little Casterton Working Weekend 2012

Pictures in my album of the same name on here include some of the early tractors and combines, but here is the steam contingent.

If you are offended by non-steam on here look away now! - just a few of the very early tractors. I'd be interested to know about the 'carriage' which wasn't apparent in the exhibit list.

Hi Ian

It's a French-built Millot self-moving saw (autoscie), which was later converted to carry passengers from what I recall. There was an article about it in Old Tractor magazine a few years back when Stuart Gibbard was still editing it. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it came out of the Schlumpf collection in France when it was sold off.

All the best

David

It was indeed part of the Schlumpf collection.
