Default Steam on Rutland Water, June 25-26

Taking place at Sykes Lane, Empingham, Rutland on the A606.

Always a nice event, laid back with plenty of steam movement and a great setting. Dr Busker playing Friday evening in the beer tent with 'Bakers Treat' on Saturday night.

14 full size engines booked in and 40 miniatures along with some steam boats on the water by kind permission of Anglian Water. Sat early evening road run to Edith Weston.

Please note I have no connection other than a happy exhibitor...!

Unfortunately the pub in Edith Weston had a nasty fire this week, current thinking is a run to the Fox & Hounds in the very pictureesque village of Exton (3 miles).
