From what I remember the route goes from the yard to the first pub then round the outide of the village an to the second pub. If you dont feel up for that then you can go back through the village(the direct route) to the second pub. An there's an optional third pub.
I'm sure Bob Davis an Mr Steam Jnr can shed some more light. Me an Crazy Steamer really enjoyed last year an I belive He's intending on doing it again. x

David, why have the run on Monday 29th? The way the holidays are running this year, some people will be back at work on Monday having had xmas and boxing day and the weekend off. Not everyone will be off from xmas to New year. So why not have the road run on the saturday 27th ? or the sunday when the majority of folks will be off!

Unfortunatly, the date when we can have the run is govened by the end stop availability. Advertising has already been done for the 29th. Added to this, we cant have it the day after boxing day as I wont be around and it wont give enough time for us all to sort out the engines in the yard. The 28th was discussed but was ruled out by a number of people. This event does have a problem in that its date is affected by when Christmas falls and it will now be held on weekdays for the next few years. We do not find that it affects the turnout that much. As soon as the year falls right again and I can get it on a Friday that is away from boxing day I will. In answer to all other enquiries to attended with exhibits, please either PM or email me. I shouldnt think there will be any problems with saying yes. Cheers Dave Quote:
