I had a call from the Leyland Museum a month or 2 back to say they had been offered a Scammell and by the sound of the way they discribed it it was an Explorer. They were going to come back to me with more details but never did. If you want to follow it up please do. Check the web site for there opening times. Its dificult to actually get to speak to the guy who knows about it but the number is 01772 451011. Paulette was the lady i initially spoke to.
Mention me, Dave Walker and say i gave you the lead. Let me know how it goes but i suspect you will have to hassle them to get the info, i think there are only a few people there trying to do rather a lot and things get forgotten.
