Default Roller wanted

I am looking to get back into steam after a number of years without an engine.
I would prefer a roller ready to rally but anything would be considered.
I have cash waiting for the right engine, I would prefer a Marshall Or Burrell but again anything considered.

Please private message me or Phone 01793 764224.

Steve

Roller still wanted.
Just to add to the mix, I also have a 45ft 8 year old narrow boat that I would be willing to part exchange or again cash waiting.
If you would like details again please PM me.

There looks to be a nice Marshall for sale on Berry Brookshttp://www.berrybrooksteam.co.uk/for...l-size-engines
I don't know anything about it, but the price seems ok

As for a Burrell, you may be waiting for some time I would think. But if you can wait, it will be worth it

I think the Marshall roller has been sold and is now in Cheshire.

Hi. The Marshall Roller that was on Berribrook was owned by a couple on the island. Very pretty but under the paint there is work to be done in the near future. I used to take it out when Den Phillips here on the island owned it and a new box will be reqiured soon. Yes it is sold now and gone up country.

Keith

Is it true its down to 140PSI?

I know top gear is a fair bit lower than mine, but I bet it barely pulls itself along

I'm not so sure Hedd. When our S was in Ireland it was set to 140 and for a few years, up to it's next hydraulic, we toodled around at that and never had any real problems. It wasn't until we'd got her back to full pressure that we realised it had been bit thirsty and hungry before.
