Default MSTEC Rally March 2014 Melbourne

Only got to spend a day here and was busy playing with my Cliff but got in a few shots before the public arrived.
Was only using my mobile phone but they came out OK.

I got 3 steam trucks to pose for me.

4 portables

A pair of ploughing engines

A couple of traction engines presented themselves

and I found and a couple of nice models without the usual crowd of people surrounding them.

There was this interesting machine currently serving as a letter box I think while it waits at the front gate
for someone to fall in love with it.

Also found a couple of nice fire pumps.

and finally this interesting effort.

No doubt there was a lot of other stuff there but I only had a short time to wander and often the sun or something / somebody was in the way making photography difficult.

I had a good day and got to take my machine home with no list of things to do.
Always a good end to a day of steaming.
Might even go to the next one.

I thought it might have been you with the Cliff & Bunting! It was a good show this year with Sam and Janine's efforts organising the rally, and MSTEC was able to raise enough cash to continue working on the many restorations and keep running our engines.

I'm glad you enjoyed your time at the rally and had a chance to have a good look around - I hope to see you there next year!

Cheers

Neil
