Thank you David for taking time to visit us at Anglsey and taking the photographes. The Anglesey roller Reg is EY 1380 and not EY 1382 as the Register says
Thank you all for coming to our Rally

My good self and Miss Boesing had a great time on Sunday, thanks to all who made the show happen, and a big thank you to David for the cake.
Looking in the mirror this morning i seem to have caught a bit of sun, first time i've been able to say that so far this year !.

Yes, damn good weekend all round! Many thanks to the organisers and great to see so many miniature traction engines welcomed. Definitely the place to go if you love steam rollers too! The Anglesey Society make a big effort to welcome everyone and certainly know how to look after their exhibitors, other rallies out there could learn some useful lessons!!

As for Davids cake, well none made it over to the miniature compound! We were reliably told that it had been left in 'safe keeping' with Mr Seddon, whom I dont yet know by sight or traction, so presumably it was guzzled by the full size!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our 4 inch made a very good impression on the rally I think, we managed to burst a trailer tyre crossing the engine paddock with a nice loud bang and we also managed to break the reversing lever just before sundays grand parade!! Hey ho early bath!

Nice to meet Engine John with his stunning 6 inch Burrell RL and Ian Morris again with his stunning Ruston Tractor that runs like a sewing machine. We had a fab weekend!

Mark.

Here are a few photos I took on the Saturday. I echo the comments so far posted about what an enjoyable event this was. Lovely setting, some nice vantage points on the field, and 3 engines on the road run in the evening added up to a very satisfying day for me. I have never been to a rally where rollers so totally outnumbered all the other steam vehicles but I for one certainly won't be complaining about that! Nice to see Fowler 19053 out, now called "Patricia B" but I will always think of her as "Crockett" as she was in the 1970s, but I was intrigued by the "19531" in her rear roll. Was this a Fowler part number, or is this roll off another roller?

What a great rally this is. As others have said a grea setting, very welcoming and lots of very friendly people.

A big thank you to the organisers for having us and we hope to return next year.

The run to the pub on the Saturday night was great fun.

All in all I would recommend this rally to anyone. If you haven't been put it in your diary for next year!

John
