I gather that the Sultan of Brunei was holding a graduation party for his son.... Janet Jackson was there and Eva Longiora Parker (who?), with Chaka Khan (if that's the way you spell it) playing in the evening. All from the local paper website - which also stated that the flowers cost £70,000
Sorry - I missed the earlier post on celebrities....!

This was not the son who when learning to be a pilot was bought a Jumbo Jet by father as his 'driving school car'!

The air display was by the Yakovlevs based at Combe Abbas in Dorset - they fly three YAK 50s and one two seat YAK 52. Think I''ve got it right. Oddly enough I saw their ground support van passing through Taunton on the Monday after Stapleford.

A quiet weekend is not what happened! the disco saturday night/sunday morning didnt finnish until 5.30AM. and there was quite a few high profile bands/artists playin throughout friday and saturday during the day
Mariah Carey
britney
witney houston,
oasis
beonce*
were to name a few.
they phoned Mr Worbey asking him to cancel the rally!
I think the fleet of range rovers are actually owned by the hotel, as the only one i could see connected with the security was the one with D15 CET as its reg no

I've just read on Wikipedia (so it must be true) that "he has a special interest in buying one-of-a-kind concept cars".

I'm off down the shed tomorrow ...

Forget some over-hyped celebrities, I was quite happy with Wait & See!

Wait and See really comes alive at night in those colours. Pity I couldn't stay till the evening.

Might I suggest that your fifth photo be titled 'Wait and See No Evil, Hear No Evil'?

I'm not suprised there was heavy security around Stapleford House looking at some of the dodgy characters lurking around the rally site!
