Hi, ive just recently purchased another one of the forrests advances. Its a 6ton which had block removed and allis engine fitted. Did you ever get a block for the 10ton. Im now in search of a 6ton block.

She has got a few bits from differant engines on her, the rear rolls are diesel (three holes instead of five) and all the brake gear has come from another engine. But we will get her going eventually. I am sourcing parts at the moment but want to finsh rebuilding my 3 hp Marshall portable first.

The rolls aren’t necessarily from a diesel, water ballast 10 ton steam rolls have 3 holes in them.
