Stuart 5a wanted
Hi,
while I still have plenty on my plate I have been looking for a Stuart 5a engine to power a small steamboat for a while but to no avail. I am interested in anything like castings, drawings, part built engines, finished engine etc. from this kind ! Maybe someone can help in one way or another ? Best Chris

Chris,
Might be worth a wanted ad or post on the Model Engineers forum (UK). ST engines seem to come up in discussions on a fairly regular basis. Paul.

Hi Paul,
thanks for the hint, I will do that later probably. For now I ordered the drawings from Stuart and will have a look. It is not exactly rocketscience in terms of an engine and might be done without castings as well without looking too ugly  Best Chris
