Burrell Museum End of Season Steamup 28 Oct 2017
Spent a good time at the museum yesterday morning, chatted and caught up with friends. A very good event to mark the end of another year, well organised.

Nice to put a face to your name Arfur. Thanks for your pictures. Here's a couple of additions:-
The Burrell Devonshire 'Spitfire' went for a run, I think before you arrived. Note the luxury accommodation for passengers, complete with seat belts. After you left, lunch was cooked in the traditional manner in Queen Mary's smokebox. Bill.

Spitfire was there when we arrived didn't take any photo's, went into the museum, she had gone when we came out again. I believe to take water to a stranded crane engine. We went to Diss and stopped in again on our way home and got Spitfire and the crane engine and the line up then. Had a great time all round. Arthur
