It is a K5 single one of a pair built by one man but I cannot remember by whom. One had the short smokebox and protruding bracket for the front end to fit to and this one has the long smokebox. This one is now owned by our friends from Hartlepool who travelled down for this event last year too. They also help out on Winston Churchill when not out with this.
Anyone get pictures of the blue Farmers Foundry portable running Joe Lawley's huge old cross cut saw? It was good to have something for the portable to run for a change - no chance to get bored this year. It is now part of the Saunders collection and was its first time out in public since it was collected.
