Kinnerley Thrashing
Had a great day at the Kinnerley thrashing/threshing on Saturday. Thanks to Andrew for the invite and also the Hosts Peter and Linda for the refreshments (Especially the cake)
I had never heard of a Crichton box before, do many survive? Thanks again Ben |

Crichton boxes were made in Turriff Aberdeenshire, there are a few survivors. |

It was quite rough place nothing much machinery wise ever left. A bit out of the way; I used to go there twice a year to dip my flock (half dozen) sheep, to satisfy the legal requirement of the day. It was 2 or 3 at a time in a Bedford Chevanne or Datsun estate. |
