Default EATES Saffron Walden Crank Up

Today was the first day of the revived Saffron Walden Crank Up. It kicks of the East Anglian Traction Engine Societies 60th Anniversary Celebrations, which will also include the Diamond Jubilee Road Run later in the year

Here are a few photos taken today by Jenny Baxter & Nick Emerson. Its a cracking little event, improved by the parking of caravans and support vehicles in the the adjacent field, which gives the show a wonderful atmosphere

Its only £5 to get in tomorrow for Adults, Children Under 16 go free. Check out the shows website http://www.swcrankup.co.uk for directions, and see the Society website or Facebook page for photos and reports http://www.eates.org

That looks recall good. I love the amount of hi-viz and orange netting, just the way it should be.

Thanks for the pictures

A nice relaxed atmosphere today. The arena had been dismantled and the area used for static displays. A few engines had a run to the beer tent (no surprise there). And there was sunshine all day
