Nice to see that Pedlar made it to the ball after a lot of hard work.

Thanks Trystan, yes we made it by the skin of our teeth and were well oiled all weekend, too - the engine that is, not the crew!

Good to meet up with other TTer friends both old and new, a really lovely weekend again. Many thanks to all those who organised it and to the Davies' for hosting the weekend again. Even the weather played ball!

Great pictures Nick, super weekend and the weather was very kind to us. Eventually got home at 9:30pm last night with two tired and very happy steam apprentices. No pictures of John on his mobility scooter then?

I must say a special thanks to Miles for my time on "Victory" on Saturday and to "Tony/Colin" for my time "Pedler" on Sunday including trusting me to take on the hill in both dircetions. Two big singles in one weekend and thanks to my crew mates with me over the two days.

Thanks also to Joe and all the team for the organisation, the Davies family for hosting it again, to all who provided the lectures and intsruction, all the engine owners and crew, all the people on the course with me and last but certainly not least, the tea ladies for tirelessly keeping us refreshed.

Cheers

Brian

The mobility scooter was only there so that 'Steamenginedriver' could undertake his scooter loading training.

Thaks Dave, I knew there would be at least one photo.

I hope Nick made sure the firebox crown was covered before he reversed up such a steep ramp

Next time we will have to get your dad and my wife to have a race - sort of recreate the wager for ale for the less able

Nice to see Pedlar & Angelina in fine fettle! Wish I could have been there, but hubby had to come without me as I was busy looking after our 10 week old daughter. Don't worry, she'll be signing up for SAC as soon as she's old enough!

She's already old enough, there's no lower age limit for the SAC..
