Saffron Walden crank up
I wold like to say a big thank you to those who made us so very welcome at Saffron Walden earlier today.
My sons both have Aspergers, in which their intelligence is conterbalanced with a disconcerting intensity and social awkwardness. Thank you to those of you who spent significant time answering the boys' questions, welcoming them into cabs and explaining how their exhibits worked. In particular, the crew of Vectis Knight were especially patient and generous with them. Both went home with very big smiles, and this has been a highlight of the season so far for them.
Thank you, both from them and me.
Simon.
