Default Boconnoc Steam Fair 2009

Selection of pictures I took at Boconnoc:

Two former Anderton and Rowland engines and two former Whitelegg engines.

Burrell 1861 climbing through the farmyard.

Searle's newly restored Crane, Burrell 3829 "His Majesty", made a long trip to attend.

Burrell 3197 "Old Tim" manoeuvring the heavy haulage load into position.

Burrell 3197 and Mclaren 1181 had a quick run with the load.

Marshall 88360, I understand this was this chap's first spin on an engine.

And it was muddy! Burrell 3411 could get no further.

Hope you had a good time David. You had a grin on your face every time I saw you. Some very good pictures, sorry about Sudays rain we had some rides going then it seemed that some people started to pull out early, this may of been due to some phone calls put out to local radio stations saying that the event was off. This report did not come from any of the committee. Thanks who ever it was? hope we never meet.

Is that another Pickfords trailer? Or is it the same haulage trailer as was sold a few months back?

Peter's old trailer was on solid tyres, but then again, doesn't take too much to change wheels, However it might be another trailer... just thought i'd ask anyways...

We heard it was a great show - even with the weather.

Did anyone get a photo of Scoobys' RSJ portable - it was its' first show? Well done to him.
