Always a good turn out at Rushden, just a shame that the miniature engines where stuck out of the way again in the exhibitors camping field. I was there with my 4" Burrell working my racksaw

sorry for the late reply.

the above engine is built on a 1040's bed for ml chassis. the power unit is a daihatsu 2 cylinder stoker unit from south america. i invested in a new boiler modelled on the 6" scale maclaren 10 nhp boiler. it is chain drive down to a 90 degree drive from a root harvester to the bed for 4 speed gear box. not everybody's cup of tea but i like it.
