Default South Cerney - Thursday

I went over to South Cerney late this afternoon to watch engines arrive. A lot still to get there but, one of the stars of the show is already on site - Foremost:

And a few more engine on site and arrivals:

The site has a slightly different layout this year, and some more attractions. Also RLS tent with some different exhibits and rarely seen photographs.

Goes without saying that if you can go you should!

Yes, they are usually removed, but I recall seeing a photo of Foremost in its days with Openshaws with them in place (just like that in fact)

I believe large copies of said photos may well be available for comparison.

Nice to see a Fowler road loco done in a different livery to the usual Norman Box lookalike.

A credit to whoever did the paint job.
