Default Anglesey 2012 Saturday

We had a great day. The weather was dry but a little chilly. If you like rollers, there were plenty to see. There was an impressive line up minatures and many other types of exhibits. It seems like a well run rally with plenty of movement and activities allowed. Many thanks to all of the organisers and exhibitors, long may it continue.

Hi Mark,
That's Aveling 1382 of 1889, which is owned by the Anglesey Vintage Equipment Society.
Regards
John

Great set of photos David as always. I made the long trek up to the rally on Saturday too (450 mile round trip) and thoroughly enjoyed it, but haven't had a chance to download my photos yet. But I did spot someone on Saturday taking a real close-up of the smurf on the Fowler headstock - guess that must have been you then!!

Sorry to have missed you, particularly as you travelled all that way. Next time hopefully you will recognise me and introduce yourself. Look forward to your images from the day.

The old Aveling is 2439. I think the response got tangled up with the Registration Number - EY 1382.

Sorry Paul, you are absolutely right. I took the works number straight out of the rally programme without checking TER first! That'll teach me.....!

Had a great weekend. Thanks to all.

Brilliant cakes from David. And yes, Mr Bridson's private cake did survive intact!!
