This event has gone from strength to strength in the last couple of years. Great display of full size and miniature steam plus range of other exhibits, refreshments & bar. Full access to the mining museum, including the massive 3300 HP Twin Tandem Cross-Compound Winding engine which will be running over the weekend. Proceeds will help to ensure the survival of the last remaining headgear in the Lancashire coal field by helping to prove the long term viability of the site, to support the lottery funding application.
