Yesterday, Moonraker went as usual to Dovaton Funday. It's a small village gathering a couple of miles away. Really relaxed and enjoyable little doo. Unfortunately, Moonraker was the only steam engine in attendance, as Mr Goddard opted for internal combustion power. We did have a very nice Sentinel in attendance. Something I tried this year, was doing steering rides around the bottom field. £1 for 2 laps. Proved to be popular and kept me occupied all afternoon, and made some money for charity too. Also, it was the first time out with the box behind Moonraker.
