Stick Tongue Out Weald and Downlands Museum - Singleton rally

Well once again what a marvelous show!!

roughly 20 engines again and a few miniatures.

Myself and Crazy steamer had a really great weekend. We were made very welcome by the organisers and other steamers and I think all had a wonderful time.
Its nice to have some good old fashined engine fun, we had engine musical chairs (with lots of cheating by a marshall roller) and a fantastic slow race (more cheating especaily by a certain Burrell Gold medal!!)

Thanks to the organisers, especialy Michael Webber for a fantastic show and we look forward to next year

Wizzy

I agree it was a great old fashioned type rally, we also had a great weekend and had lots of fun! We were made very welcome by Michael Webber and his team.

The Steamer games were brilliant we also had a go at musical chairs but gave up in the slow race lol!

If anyone has pictures of the rally please do put them up on here as I didn't have time to take pictures!

Regards

Matt and Chas Pye

We drove back to the museum via the same route you went to singleton an there's some pretty impressive dents in the road! The important thing is that you got there in the end an no one was hurt.
An I'm glad you've not been put off by the experience. lets hope next year is better for you.
...but you still didn't break Darren's record of 3AM!!!

Hugs
Wizz
