Its the best show in the south as far as I can see. Its like the old rallies, no yellow jackets and no twaddle just a real good day out. And at £6.00 to get in it dont leave you feeling like there should be a pot of vaseline at the gate.

Hopefully as time progresses, more of the Jesset Trust engines will appear. It's worth attending the open day at the end of the season when some of the "engines in waiting" are put on view. The road run is the day after, so a full weekend.

From memory the open day is Saturday 26th September.

Another 2 or 3 engines are likely to be dragged out of the shed. Don't expect to see either the Tasker roller with 5 section front roll (No. 1409?) or Wallis and Steevens Expansion "Pensioner" (no. 7662) as the boilers of both are off site for major work. With the Sussex club road run the next day, as Bob has mentioned, there are likely to be various engines turning up ready for the run.
