Default Pedler Goes to the Ball (NTET AGM)

I was lucky to be invited to follow Wallis & Steevens 7248, Pedlar and crew to the NTET AGM held in Meriden earlier today. Nice run and great autumn colours, it is a shame the sun didn't come out as was forecast. Thanks to the crew for taking her along a providing some steam at the meeting.

Pleasure to have you with us David. We really enjoyed the day, our first run after re-setting the valve timing. We had a good run home under clear skies listening to the crisp bark as she tackled the hills. Thankyou to everyone for the appreciative comments at the hotel, just seemed like a good thing to do as we were only 7 miles away. We'd better start the run to Tavistock tomorrow. !!!

Although it isn't brilliant, and snapped last minute on a camera phone, here is one of Peddler leaving under the cover of darkness.

The lights were awesome!!

After my first NTET AGM (which was lets just say "interesting") I managed to get a snap or two of Pedler on the way home. I think this is the second best one (I'm saving the best one for the next photo competition!)

We travelled from the back of Fillongley via Maxstoke to Meriden. Not the shortest route but we considered the quieter and safer one. Sometimes travel past Corley if we are going to Fillongley show in August.
