Default Leawood Pump.

This impressive beam engine driven pump, built by Graham & Co. of Elscar in 1849, pumps 4 tons of water per stroke from the River Derwent into the Cromford Canal. It was in steam yesterday and attached should be a few pictures.

Exterior view.

Locomotive style boiler made by Hawthorne Leslie & Co. in 1900.
