4 inch Fowler R3
4 Inch Fowler R3, 3 speed Road loco to the Plastow Design.
Built 1990 and have done work to improve it, Cylinder port Improvement to enlarge passageways, crank journal re ground, new big ends, main bearings, new little ends on roller bearing. It has been geared up on top gear and had vulcanised tyres by reliant rubber.
Boiler is in good condition and runs at 150psi. Thickness of the boiler plates are Front Tubeplate 9.3mm-10mm, inner firebox tubeplate 8mm-9mm, firebox crown 7.8mm-8.1mm, firebox sides 8mm-9mm, firebox doorplate 8mm-9mm, barrel 8mm and boiler tubesare 7 year old.
Had it on independant boiler inspections since ive owned it but last year decided to get it hydraulic and steam tested through my local model engineers club for convienience to me. So will require a hydraulic in 2026 and will come with all the blanks to do this.
It will come with a single and double seat.
