Just a quick reminder that Statfolds Giant Miniature Weekend returns for its fifth annual event over May 8th-10th. The weekend will see miniatures take over the Statfold Barn Railway. Attractions include:
- 100 Miniature Traction Engines/Steam Lorries in 3" - 9" scales
- Ashleys Steam Gallopers - Steam Carousel
- Full size Showmans Engine "Repulse"
- Fowler Crane Engine "Wolverhampton Wanderer" (as seen in BBCs Peaky Blinders)
- Saturday lunchtime performance by Dr Busker
- 7.25" gauge miniature steam railway
- Miniature working area
- At least 6 SBR steam locomotives in action on the railway
- The Burton & Ashby Tram will be in operation on the tramway
- Indoor displays of Toy Steam, Meccano, 16mm Model Railways etc
- Gavioli Fairground organ
- Line Up and BIG Whistle each day
- Roundhouse Museum Open
- Birds of Prey, Engine Games etc
As you can see there is plenty to see and do for the whole family. Steam engines on display from across the UK!
