Took the plunge and brought this today
http://www.warco.co.uk/metal-lathes-...80v-lathe.html also getting some tooling included as they would do that at the engineering show in a couple of weeks. Yes, it's chinese but should do what I ask of it and is small enough to go into the workshop without too much issue.
