Default Belt Driven Bench Mounted Grinder

Bench Mounted Grinder: "The Diamond" Patented in July 1888.

Cast Iron body and hood, Free and Powered pulley operated off a line shaft, or PTO, Staionary engine, etc., white metal oil lubricated bearings, Hole cast into body, and sides/drain hole in base, indicate this was designed to be used wet.

I restored this with my late father 35+ years ago. We put in a new shaft and had the bearings re-mettled and we scrapped them in. I used it as someting to be driven by my stationary engine. It has been stored for many years in the garage and I am having a clear out, so it needs a new home.

It measures:

Base 180 mm x 560mm

Overall width (including pulleys) 400mm

Overall height 400mm

Located in Dorset

PM me if interested, to make an offer.
