One engine which I am not too sure of the identity is this one:



The registration plate on the front and the rear reads NO 5898 however it was only when I got home and looked in the TER that NO 5898 belongs to F-Type roller 10324 also at Thursford:



I know this one is certainly 10324 because I got a picture of the plate.

Clearly the registration must have been swapped at some point, I think this first engine is 14008 which is the only late compound Aveling at Thursford.

If anybody knows differently or can shed any further light please let me know.
