I have never seen a detailed history for the engine either, interested to know more. Did it go to Ireland new? I understand it was used as a showmans engine for part of it's life, there was
mention on here of it being restored as a showmans engine. It is listed in the
fairground heritage trust list as having showland owners but they don't say with which family. I didn't see anybody around the engine at Pickering to ask.
