Fowler Drawings

Needed for Ploughing Engine 'Standard English Type Sleeping Van' built in 1918.

It'd save the hassle/time of dealing with MERL, if somebody has a set of drawings they could copy for me.

All costs recompensed.

Also, if anyone has any information on original colour schemes for the above, I'd be glad to hear from them.

Many Thanks in advance.

Fowler drawings

Reply to Edwin Foden.

I have a large collection of Fowler drawings, mainly engine stuff - some implements - can`t
remember if the Living Van is amongst them. They are all full size ( AO ) prints - not like what is supplied by Reading now .

I`ll have a look.

A drawing ( no. 61636 ) of the standard English type Van is reproduced in Geoff Gilbert`s book `` Fowler Steam Cultivating Machinery 1900 - 1930 `` . This book may be difficult to get now.

Mark,

Thanks for your reply, I'd be interested if you have a set of drawings.

I have a copy of the Geoff Gilbert book, but drawing 61636 is only the side elevation, still some very useful information within it, but a full set would be very handy.

Cheers

Simon
