WANTED: Road roller lessons
 

In pursuit of all categories on my licence there are still a few hard-to-collect ones I need, including category G - road rollers! Would love to drive one and have a few lessons before I take the test. I'm told that a diesel roller will do, it need not be steam. I am based in Leeds but will travel if necessary. If you can give me a few lessons (obviously I will pay you!) and let me take the test on your road roller please get in touch. Many thanks.

We do steaming days on our Wallis & Steevens Advance 8 ton. We have had people do their test on our roller. For all details of our steam days have a look at Essex Steam website

I can really recomend these Guys - I purchased a steam experience course from them and it was a really brilliant day - really informative and friendly service, and superb driving their roller for the day!!

I plan to go back to them to take my 'G' test.
