Quite a few engines on site now. The grounds are in excellent condition with nicely mown grass.

Excellent show last year.

St. Albans Steam and Country Show

Aveling No. 8064, new to St. Albans Corporation in 1913, was seen travelling on what would have been its home territory in St. Albans today.

Great site, ground conditions perfect, we are looking forward to a super weekend.

St. Albans Steam and Country Show - this weekend

Most exhibits are already on the field, everything is shaping up nicely despite some rain this morning.

Thanks to everyone attending as exhibitors. Great to have 'Britannia' generating on Saturday night with excellent bands on Friday & Saturday night in the beer tent. We had an excellent day on Saturday with increased attendance, and considering the weather, a remarkably good turnout on the Sunday: people in St Albans are obviously made of tough stuff.

We also raised well over £100 for Parkinson's UK with Frederick's St Albans - Brighton run on the 13th June!
