nope it is 5" foster rope engine

It is a Foster rope engine, it is not known if any full size ones were built.

hmm very interesting, never seen anything like it. have you got any more pics of it? when does it date from? 1860s?

Got some video and photos of Steve and Jonathan on route on friday afternoon, will post if some one can tell me how, failed miserabley on friday to post them.
