An excellent rally, with well over 100 steamers on show normally. In fact I would go as far as to say, that this is probably second in size only to Dorset now.

It has to be one of my favorite rallies. Love the way the engines are layed out but could do with a play pen and less tractors.

I agree with you Phil about the playpen, even a one way system on the tarmac roads would be good.

just been to showground with caravan, coal on site, sadly no moonrocket ride, over 100 full size and miniatures entered in proggramme, over 1500 entries all together, soon be eating the mike on sat and sunday!!

Hi,

I was thinking of going to Lincoln on saturday and was wondering if there were any owners attending who would let my daughter onto their engine and possibly a trip around the ring. She is 10 and a member of the SAC but joined too late to attend any of the events in our area. She has been brought up with miniature steam but is very keen to go on a full sized engine.
