Engine in MK area
 

I appreciate this is a very big ask. My (lightly autistic, highly obsessed and generally loveable) 14 yr old son is suffering with a severe steam drought. It is his birthday this weekend. Usually this is the busiest time of year for him, with great anticipation of the Steam Apprentice day at Onslow, the greatest day of the year. This year is very different, hardly leaving the house,
Is there anyone vaguely in the Milton Keynes area who would be willing to let him view an engine in the flesh, rather than just peering at photos & engineering drawings on a screen? He doesn't need to touch it, or for it to be in steam, just seeing one will hopefully be enough to carry him forward for another year.

It’s Steam in Miniature event at Bressingham this weekend. Saturday evening we are taking our full sized engine to a local pub somewhere nearby.

I cannot do this weekend but you both are welcome to throw a fire in Star and drive it round the yard some other time. The yard has several other engines so plenty else to see.
