Steel plate

Has anyone got a bit of 3 inch ,2 ft x 2ft plate hanging around ? Or similar.
It’s to make a former to flange a throat plate patch over .

Something I have often wondered about, what about laminating? It would take a bit of thought but for a one off might be worth considering.
