Vintage ratchet drills, pillar, tools from W.W. Buncombe Highbridge works

I have two ratchet drills, pillar and two wooden boxes of assorted drill bits from the Highbridge steam roller works of W.W. Buncombe. These were given to me by Norman Buncombe, son of the late proprietor W.W. Buncombe. I have had these for 50 years, so they are probably 100 years old. I would like these to go to a good home, possibly a museum. If you can convince me that they will continue to be cherished then they are available for free, although collection from St. Albans will be required. If interested, please send me a PM containing your email address. Sandy Ross

Vintage ratchet drills, pillar tools from W.W. Buncombe of Highbridge

I am still hoping that a new home can be found for these historic tools that were used for the repair of Buncombe's fleet of steam rollers. Sandy

Although I have had some enquiries, these items are still available free to a good home. Please PM me if you know of a museum or working steam workshop who might be interested. Sandy
